Friday Dec. 11th - Go to Dinner as a Family, then go to a Holiday Show!
Katie's turn to open Advent door #11, it said to go to dinner as a family and then to a holiday show! So the girls wore their holiday green shirts (I will get my $$ worth out of them!) and all we headed over to Ruby's Diner for dinner. 
The girls loved the train menus, mac-n-cheese and fries.

Next we headed over to Grandma Babette's ward building to see the Marionette Show!!! Their ward has been doing this for years, Adam remembers watching the show as a child.

Next we headed over to Grandma Babette's ward building to see the Marionette Show!!! Their ward has been doing this for years, Adam remembers watching the show as a child.
So our family of five plus Grandma Babette got our seats (adults sit in the chairs and the kids sit on blankets around the floor stage). The girls sat on my old red blanket.
Side Note: it's been raining, and raining. Katie decided to SPLASH around in some puddles in the parking lot...thus her shoes and pants were wet.
Peyton did really well for awhile, she sat on Meg's lap (you can sorta see her arm above). Then she got up and would watch while standing. I really wanted her to sit, I was concerned that if she was standing she could easily run onto the stage or run away laughing.
So I gave her goldfish. Ah, the power of goldfish! It made her stay-put!
The Marionette Show was a hit. They played several Christmas songs and the girls enjoyed all the puppets. The one above is from my favorite, Santa Baby.
