Family Vacation - July 4

Sunday morning, the "Lewis Family Reunion" continued at a cabin near Park City Utah. Instead of attending church we held our own testimony meeting. We all gathered in the piano room. My Grandpa spoke and shared his testimony and gratitude for his family. I love this man.
It was wonderful to hear my grandpa, my mom, my aunts and uncles and other family share their testimony. It was an emotional and touching morning.
After that we all headed out front to attempt a family photo. Some of the family hadn't arrived yet and some were napping, but this is almost everyone who attended the reunion.
Can you say posterity?
My Grandpa and his wife Jean
my mom, 4 Aunts & 4 Uncles
17 Grandkids (+ 14 spouses)
29 Great-Grandkids ages 11 days old to 12 years old
(Unable to attend was 5 cousins, 3 spouses and 12 great-grandkids)

Here is my family of five with my mom, Grandpa & Jean.
The rest of the day was relaxing as the kids played and the adults talked. I really enjoyed hanging out with my cousins and cousin-in-laws.
Meg enjoyed spending time with her newest cousin Jane.
It wouldn't be a Lewis gathering without Rummikub! Jaime, me, Laura & Aaron, Ben.
Summer, Jaime, Aunt Diane, mom and me
Jeff had my camera and was taking pics looking down into the rec room, he got a pic of Adam and I
and Peyton too!
Most of the kids were in the rec room playing duck, duck, goose. Meg, Katie & Peyton had so much fun playing with their cousins!
After dinner we all gathered upstairs to give Grandpa his birthday gifts. The first gift was as a family we collectively did 90 acts of service for my Grandpa (from Pres Monson's talk last year). My sister Michelle complied the 90 acts into a book for him. Each page stated the act of service and included a picture.
The second gift was the big one. It was an updated family tree.
In my Grandparents home there is a huge picture of a tree with the photos of my grandparents, their 5 children + 5 spouses and the 22 grandkids. But it hasn't been updated in almost 20 years. A lot has changed since then, including hair styles! Ha! So my Uncle Don who made the last family tree made an updated tree as of July 2010.
The new tree includes everyones picture and name, including great-grandchild #41 Jane (just in time!)
My Grandpa was very emotional and grateful for family tree.
The third gift was a video that my cousin Ryan made. He lives in Germany and was unable to attend the reunion but visited areas in Germany where my Grandpa served in WWII.
Then it was time for good-byes.
Here are 7 of the 9 the Lewis Granddaughters:
Teresa, Michelle, Me, Jeana, Melissa, Jaime & Laura
After most families left, those staying at the cabin got to use of the last of the sparklers!
