Our BIG vacation this year was 1o days long, covered several states (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho & Wyoming) and we added about 2,300 miles to our RV.
First we left on Thursday July 1st in the late afternoon in the RV. It was our family of five plus my brother Jeff. We drove to Mesquite and stayed the night at an RV park there.

On Friday July 2nd it was my birthday! Yep. Traveled up the wonderful 15 freeway from Mesquite to Utah, and I ate at Subway (yummy chicken orchard on wheat) at a truck stop on my birthday for lunch. Don't be jealous!
We arrived late Friday afternoon at my sister Laura's home in Salt Lake City, where the RV can park nicely in their huge driveway. We then got to meet the newest addition to the family, Jane. She was born on June 23rd and is just 9 days old. Meg is so good with babies, and Peyton was smitten with Jane!
We ate dinner and then our family, Laura's family, my mom and brother all walked to the park at the end of their street to watch fireworks from the local high school.
After the fireworks we headed back to Laura's to sing Happy Birthday to me. This is the "cake" Laura made me. That is 100% pure chocolate chip cookie dough, heaven. I love cookie dough. best cake ever! Me and my girls.
It was really late (after midnight) and so we had my niece Sydney sleep in the RV with us for a fun cousin sleep over.
The girls were whispering and giggling. Adam and I were exhausted, we told them to go to sleep. Peyt had already crashed thankfully. These three kept giggling so Adam went out to the main area and asked 'who was asleep?' all three of them raised their hands and smiled! After a few minutes of silence they were finally sound asleep.
