Good Morning!!! This was the view from our window this morning, overlooking all the excursion buses on the dock. We are really excited because today is our 10th anniversary and we are in Barcelona Spain!!
After we got dressed we headed to one of the nicer restaurants to have breakfast. We had waffles, french toast, donuts, eggs, bacon, juice...we stuffed ourselves full!
Adam also had an omelet made with pepperoni.
We hoped on one of the complimentary shuttle buses that took us to the La Rambla area. Where our boat was docked was on the other side of the shipyard, about 2 miles from the beach. Once we got off the bus we saw this huge statue of Christopher Columbus (over 150 feet).

We walked around the La Rambla area, the buildings kinda reminded me of Main St at Disneyland.
We continued walking until we reached the Barcelona Cathedral. It was under renovations on the exterior. It was free to go inside, but a tour was available for a fee.

Inside was amazing. The architectural details and craftsmanship was beautiful. But it was very cold.
Next we walked around another area and found the Arc de Triomf.
Then we headed over to the Sagrada Familia Church. It was designed by Gaudi (and it is gaudy!).
It was also being renovated. Most of the old exterior looked like dried goopy mud, and the new exterior was smooth.
We stopped at a little cafe across the street. I had tortellini and Adam had a pastrami sandwich.
