Earlier today we went to our friend's son Rowan's 3rd birthday party, which had a pirate theme. There was pirate scarfs, clip-on earrings, eye patches and temporary tattoos for everyone to use to get into the mood. 
They had a pirate ship made of cardboard for everyone to pose in. Everyone say Argg!!! (Notice that Meg has to wear her trademark headband over the scarf!!)
Peyton got into it by wearing a scarf and an earring just like her daddy.
The house was all 'DECK'ed out...haha...with pirate sayings and motifs. For example the bathroom was the 'poop deck', if anyone misbehaved they would have to 'walk the plank' and the kids had to search for lost treasure using a map and clues. Inside the treasure box was their goodie/loot bags and lots of extra candy to fill their loot bags.
The girls had a lot of fun playing pirate. I was surprised that they kept their scarves on the whole time, most of the kids had them off within 15 minutes.
