Tonight we celebrated New Years Eve with Grandma Cathy and the Hollingsheads! After dinner we did a fun dessert craft ~ make your own Christmas Tree. Aunt Laura had taken sugar cones and dipped them in icing and then refrigerated them so the icing would set. Then each kid got green icing in their own piping bag (Ziploc bag) and MMs to decorate. Obviously it's important to wear princess dresses while crafting!

Peyton really enjoyed this, she did really well "piping". All the kids loved their treats! After dessert it was "party time". We gave all the kids glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces to wear. Then we turned on the music and turned off the lights and danced!!

Here is a video of them dancing.
Then we used some of the necklaces to make a limbo stick.

It was almost 10pm, so we went outside and everyone had noisemakers and poppers (popped confetti) and we yelled Happy New Year!! (10pm is close enough to midnight for them)

A final pic of the kiddos in 2010.

The girls had so much fun, they got a yummy dessert, stay up past their bedtime, dance, limbo, play with glow-in-the-dark stuff and mostly have a fun night with their Utah cousins!
After Laura's family left a little bit after 10pm and the girls went to sleep...I went to bed too, so long 2010!!
