After having our little family time, Adam's entire family then came over for breakfast. We ate crapes, french toast casserole, cinnamon rolls, pigs-n-blanket...I love Christmas breakfast!Then we headed into our family room. Our family room has three couches, then we bring in the love seat and chair from the living room in front of the TV so all the 12 'adults' (those over 16) have a cushy seat. Meg, Katie & Peyt sit in the middle of the room and baby Azlin (3 weeks today) was fast asleep in her carrier. Up until 3 weeks ago, our three girls have been the only grandkids on Adam's side...so they have always been spoiled by all the aunts and uncles...the middle of the room was so thick of gifts JUST for the four girls that we decided to let them open all their gifts first (we left all the adult gifts by the tree).

Once all their gifts were opened Adam got to open his gift from Meg, Katie & Peyt. Inside each mug I placed a picture of them painting the mug so Adam would know immediately who the artist was.
Next, the girls were sent to the playroom and all the gifts for the adults were brought in. Grandma loved her updated pictures of all 14 of us, her 7 kids and the 4 granddaughters.
The afternoon was spent lazily, some watched TV, some napped. Then we all headed to Acapulco's for dinner. We started this new tradition last year and we love not having to prep and cook dinner or clean dishes Christmas evening.
The whole day was fun being with family.
