We met Saturday (my Grandpa's birthdate) at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. There are really nice picnic areas with picnic tables, bbq grills, grass areas and it's right on the beach, so everyone was able to enjoy the sand and ocean too. Here are 12 of the great-granddaughters that attended this weekend, aren't they just precious! My grandpa has 33 great-grandkids in total, the oldest is 10 and the newest addition is 4 weeks old (#34 (mine) is due next week). Katie is third from the left (pink dress) and Meg is in the middle holding her cousin Annabelle.
My girls had so much fun playing with all their cousins in the sand, in the water, during many craft activities and just running around.
On Sunday, we gathered together at the beach house my aunt rented in San Clemente. We had a wonderful slide show of my grandparents that my cousin had prepared. The best part was hanging out with so many family members and playing Rummikub with my grandpa and cousins. I am so blessed to have the family that I have.

It was fun. Aaron and I were both commenting on how good Meghan was at playing with Grant. She is going to be a great big sister (again) and hopefully a huge help to you. Good luck this week!
we just got back from the rasmussen reunion, gotta love family reunions!
