Happy July 4, 2008!

Happy 4th of July!!

Here are the girls wearing their red, white and blue!

We headed over to Adam's mom's home to go swimming and have some yummy BBQ. Most of Adam's family was there.

Both of my sisters and their families are in town, so they all came over to swim too. Here the girls with their cousin Sydney.

As of today...my mom has 5 grandchildren. Here are all 5 with my 2 brother-in laws: Katie (3), Sydney (3), Cash (4 weeks), Johnny, Meghan (6); Jared and Annabelle (11½ months)

After a fun afternoon of swimming, everyone headed back to our house for dessert and fireworks. Waiting for it to get dark, the girls and their 2 cousins played in the playroom. It was so cute to see all 4 of them play and interact with each other.

Once it got dark...the fun begins. The girls were so cute sitting in their beach chairs watching the fireworks. Our city permits the use of fireworks, legal fireworks. To avoid posting any incriminating evidence of my husband and/or neighbors, just take my word that is was an eventful evening.

A tradition I always do is root beer floats while everyone watches the fireworks.

It was a long day of swimming, eating and visiting with family. The girls didn't go to bed until after 11pm!!
