Five years ago today,
our family of three became a family of four with the birth of
Kaitlyn Leanne
Her named changed at the hospital when she didn't look like the name we previously picked. It just didn't fit her. We went through all the names again and I loved 'Caitlyn' with a C, but Adam and I felt "Caty, Cate, Catie" looked odd to us (no offense to anyone) and I hate "Cat" as a nickname, so we changed it to a 'K' and it felt perfect.
Her middle name is a combo of my grandma LEnore and Adam's grandma JoANNE names, since we couldn't decided between them and we didn't know if we would have any more daughters...lol.
Katie was such a little nugget compared to her older sister.
Katie is so sweet, and has an amazing smile. 
She has a lot of energy and is very active. Yet she has a quietness about her, where she is shy and reserved. She always surprises me with things she does or gets into... 
We are so blessed to have Katie in our family. She is our middle child now, so she is a little sister to Meg and a big sister to Peyt. It's fun to see her teach things to Peyt. Katie is really good at telling me when Peyt is hungry or being naughty.
