Yesterday we hopped in the RV and headed to Hemet to have a fun day with Adam's dad Larry and family. Larry and his wife Clarice had a fun filled day planned for us. After breakfast Larry took the girls and most of us on a walk around his 'community' (they live in a age 55+ community). Isn't the fall leaves beautiful, this path way is next to his house. Please take note that it is sunny.
We walked around the clubhouse and then went inside to go upstairs to the running area.

Then Peyton took off.
Then she turned the corner and saw Meg and Katie and laughed. The girls love running around here, I like that they're using energy and its in a contained environment.
Then we all went outside and played Bocce ball, its like bowling. Peyton was getting tired so Adam took her back to the RV for a nap.
Still sunny but some clouds.
After Bocce ball we went back to the house to order pizza. That's when we heard the thunder and lightning!!! Huh??? It was sunny earlier with a few dark clouds, then within 30 minutes dark clouds were everywhere and we first heard the thunder and lightning, then it started to rain, and then it rained hard. I ran to the RV to check on Adam and Peyton. Then I saw the hail, it was hailing in Hemet!?!? 
Meg with her cousins waiting for the pizzas to arrive. Originally we were going to eat outside at the clubhouse's patio area but it was still raining and hailing so we ate at the house. The girls loved the storm.
After lunch it stopped raining and the dark clouds left and it was sunny again. Weird weather.
Later that evening we attended the baptism of three of Clarice's granddaughters. My three girls wore their fall dresses again (gotta get my $$ worth out of them).
I also got a three generation pic of the girls with their dad and grandpa.
It was getting late so the girls said good-bye to their cousins and we took one last group shot.
then we headed home around 6:30pm. 
I am thankful for AAA, the guy told Adam that this would have been an $800 tow at the least! I am also thankful for warranties, the alterator is under full warranty!!! I am thankful that the generator still worked on the RV so I was able to use the microwave to make dinner for the girls.
It was a long night for Adam, but we all arrived home safely. The RV will be fixed next week and all will be well again.

then we headed home around 6:30pm.I'm not sure when but somewhere in Riverside Adam noticed the RV's headlights and running lights weren't working. He tried to use his turn signal, nothing. So we pulled off the freeway and parked at a vacant UC Riverside parking lot.
Adam checked a few things and believed the alternator is dead and the battery was low, so we called AAA and said a prayer. A truck came 40 minutes later and the guy agreed with Adam about the alternator and battery and they both thought a jump start would be enough to get us home.
So we got jumped (is that what you call it? or is it 'we got jump started'?) and our lights are working now and we get back on the freeway to head home. So everything was good for maybe 10 minutes, then the RV lost all its lights again and started to shake. So we got off on the next exit and parked at a Baker's parking lot. Once we parked the engine stopped. So Adam called AAA again and his brother Aric to come rescue me and the girls.

Over 2.5 hours later (something about taking off the drive shaft and axle for the RV to be towed) its around 1:30am and this is what is in front of my house.
