It's Viral

It's the cold, running nose, flu season.
Peyton had all the symptoms of a cold until Adam and I noticed a few weeks ago that she had bumps on her feet. At first they were the same color as her skin and then they turned RED. And then it moved...up her legs, onto her thighs, and then a few days later on her arms and FACE! She was still herself, but tired. Her doctor said she had a viral infection and it just needed time to run its course. I was told that she wasn't contagious anymore, oh ok, good to know.
Meg and Katie didn't get infected, but Peyton may have gotten one toddler sick on our trip last weekend, so to that family=SORRY!! I was told she wasn't contagious. So at her follow-up appt today the dots are almost gone, yea!! Her current stats at 19 months is

30 pounds 8 ounces
34.25 inches

My Sam had that once--he had those sores all in his mouth too and was MISERABLE, he was starving a couldn't eat because it hurt too bad! They called it Hand, foot, mouth disease and it is a tricky one because by the time the rash appears the incubation period is over and you're no longer contagious but you don't know it until then!

She is getting to be such a big girl!! So adorable! Sorry about the infection, it's always so sad when your kids are sick, at least she was in good spirits.
