Utah Trip Part 4

Monday Dec. 29th: Breakfast in the RV...
Isn't Peyton so cute? especially with her nails painted!
Sydney came out to eat cereal with the girls. The girls all enjoyed being 'neighbors' during this trip. Mine would just leave the RV to go in the house to play, or Syd would go outside and into the RV to play. It was definitely nice being 'parked' in the driveway.

After breakfast, our family of 5, my mom and Laura and kids all headed to my grandpa's home in Sandy in the RV. My Grandpa and his wife Jean live there. They've been married almost 20 years. (My Grandma died 21 years ago.)

I love my grandpa. He loves family history and was showing me how we are descendants of a family that was on the Mayflower. So cool. We had a nice visit. He then told me a few stories about my dad, I had heard them before but I love how his eyes twinkle when he talks about my dad.

Meanwhile, down in the basement....
these 3 adorable girls found Jean's trampoline...
and bounced, and bounced, and bounced

My family of five with my Grandpa & Jean. They're redoing their curtains so you can see the snow and the RV out the window.

(Peyton is great-grandkid #32 for my grandpa, and Jean has a lot too)

Next we headed to the Sandy Mall for lunch and a ride on the carousel

Then Peyton got her ears pierced. Here is her "before" pic at the piercing place.
While she was getting her ears pierced, the rest of the gang hung out at a bench and ate Skittles.
I will not post the pics 'during' the piercing. Peyton did cry for a few minutes then had some formula and was fine. I teared up a bit and was fine a few minutes later too.
On the way back to Laura's, Peyton with her new bling and cousin Cash were all smiles.
