Utah Trip Part 3

Sunday Dec. 28th: My mom went to church with Laura's family; since Michelle was staying at my grandparent's home in Sandy, they went to church with them; our family of five decided to skip church (as we were on vacation) and just drive around town just us 5. We ventured around and enjoyed the beautiful snow covered mountains and then stopped at an RV store (which was closed, only in Utah!) and then we found a Wal-Mart and bought a light bulb for the RV (on the way to Utah we blew a fuse and then a few bulbs went out).
Anyways we all ventured back to Laura's home for dinner. After dinner it was dessert time!!

Laura had made some regular cookie dough. She gave everyone a piece of wax paper and plopped a cup of cookie dough on it. Then she had all these mix-ins and toppings. (Similar to how Cold Stone works)Laura had nuts, toffee, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, mm's, etc... You just added your choices to your dough and then place it inside a dish. All toppings not used are deemed free for munching.

After baking in the oven, let it cool for a minute, add a dollop of ice cream and wall-lah! Yummy! The cold ice cream melts a bit on the hot cookie....mmmm. Meg & Katie loved their personalized cookies.


After dessert, Katie sang a song from a barbie movie...

..and then someone said something funny to Peyton!

Next the kids went downstairs to watch a Disney movie while the adults played Pit!

This was Michelle's family's last night in Utah so we had to play Pit before they left.

The game is hard to explain on a blog, but it's a loud fun game. We end up laughing and always playing longer then we realize.

Peyton really wanted to play too.
