Weekend fun and Happy Birthday to Adam!

This weekend we celebrated Adam's birthday and his sister April's birthday. All the family came over Saturday night for dinner, cake and ice cream. Adam's grandparents were also staying with us too before the headed back home. The birthday honorees opening up their gifts.

Meg is such a big helper when it comes to opening up presents.

Every year I make Adam his favorite cake: German chocolate cake with coconut & pecan frosting. Meg and Katie helped me make both his cake and April's pink cake.

Sunday April 13th: Adam's official birthday (more pics below). Sunday morning we four and Adam's grandparents went to church. After church, Adam's Uncle Bobby and his wife stopped by to take them sightseeing. We had a great visit with them.

After breakfast I drove them to the airport and they headed back to Idaho.



Sunday was Adam's official birthday and with his grandparents in town staying with us we didn't get to do anything fancy, but we did go out to dinner on Monday night to Mi Casa (the McGary's favorite local Mexican restaurant). Here are some pics from Adam's past birthdays...
