Utah Trip ~ Part 1

This last weekend our family of 5 plus Adam's little sister Morgan drove up to Utah for 4 days for work (Adam had 2 meetings), fun (Sydney's 4th birthday party), visit family (my grandpa) and PLAY!!!

On Friday, first on the agenda was PLAY at Thanksgiving Point with my sister Laura & kids. Adam had two meetings in the area so he dropped us off. TP has horses, peacocks, ducks, sheep, goats, turkeys and other animals. The girls all loved feeding the horses.

Meanwhile, snug and warm in the double stroller was Peyton and her cousin Cash.
The gardens were so pretty with the tulips. I snapped a few of Morgan for her mom.

Next was pony/horse rides.

Peyton did not ride a horse, she just posed for me.

Then we ventured around the barn and found this mock little town with a jail! The girls were so excited to be locked up...!?! Should I be worried?

Before we left we fed the goats, sheep and baby lambs. Katie gave them 1 piece at a time, Peyton loved all the animals.

After playing at TP for a few hours we met Adam at the Del Taco next door for a late lunch. The girls had way too much fun playing there together.

After lunch we headed back to Laura's to get ready for Sydney's birthday party!!
It was a princess party, "dress to impress!", so Meg was Sleeping Beauty, Katie was Snow White and Peyton was Tinkerbell. Here are a few of the girls at the beginning of the party. Over a dozen girls showed up, all dressed to impress. They did a scavenger hunt with Ariel, played the magic carpet ride with Jasmine and the poison apple game with Snow White!

They even got to decorate a pink crown with jewels, here's Katie with her new crown.

After the fabulous princess party was over, it was time to wind down and have a pajama party and watch Mama Mia!

So that was our Friday.
