Easter Morning 2008

The girls woke up and found their baskets in the living room.

Katie with her pink basket. Katie wasn't feeling well, and about 30 minutes later she threw up. (She threw up twice on Saturday)

Here are pics of the girls wearing their Easter dresses before brunch. Katie was still sick but she really wanted to wear her dress too.

After Meg and I returned from church (Adam stayed home with Katie) we headed to Adam's mom Babette's home for Easter brunch. We ate spinach quiche, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, etc.

My mom also joined us for brunch and gave the girls these flower headbands.

Katie was so hungry, so she had grapes and bananas and apple juice.

Next was the egg hunt in grandma Babette's backyard.

Next we headed to Lakewood to Adam's grandpa Sam and his wife Vada's home for Easter dinner.

Easter was a wonderful day celebrating with our family. We are very thankful for our blessings and the gospel.

(P.S. Katie didn't throw up the rest of the day, so we think she is getting over her 'bug')
