Saturday: Kaitlyn's 3rd Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Kaitlyn's 3rd Birthday. It was 'Barbie as the Island Princess' theme. This is Katie's favorite video right now.
Here is her cake with 'Ro' (Barbie's character in the movie) and 'Sagi' her red panda friend. Katie was so excited when she saw the cake, she pointed to Barbie and said "Hi Ro!".

The buffet table ready to go. Adam grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and bratwursts. When Katie saw the table cover she was so excited to see the animal characters from the movie and pointed and named each one, over and over since the pattern repeats. I'm glad she was thrilled about the whole thing. She was so excited about the balloons and pics of 'Ro' everywhere.

Katie's face lit up when everyone sang Happy Birthday to her.
We were very blessed to have so many family and close friends come celebrate the day with us.

The best part of all was that I got an updated family pic of both Adam's side and my side together in one picture. My sister Michelle and family came down from San Francisco and my other sister Laura and family came down from Salt Lake City for the weekend.

So as of March 2008: Adam and I are in the middle of both of our sides. Katie is in pink, Meg has white shorts. On the left is Adam's dad Larry, mom Babette, 3 sisters: April, Atalie & Morgan, 3 brothers: Aric, Andrew & Taylor and 1 brother-in-law: Randy, and on the right is my mom Cathy, 1 brother Jeff, 2 sisters: Laura & Michelle, 2 brother-in-laws: Johnny & Jared and my niece Sydney. (My other niece Annabelle was sleeping at the time, but she will be added to Michelle's arms later via computer magic)

Here are my girls and their cousins: L-R Kaitlyn, Meghan holding Annabelle & Sydney. (Meg is 6, Katie will be 3 on Wed, Syd will be 3 next month and Annabelle is 8 months) Annabelle was tired and not feeling well, Katie & Sydney just wanted to hurry up and get back to bouncing in the bounce house.

I love the pinata pictures. And Katie's hair really looked darling. And Adam's hamburgers were majorly good.
