Today was our Birthday Date with Katie. She wanted to see the Lorax, so she and I went to the theatre and saw the movie, got popcorn and had a fun time being the only two in the entire theatre! I guess when you go to the first showing at 10:30 no one else is up yet.
After the movie Adam joined us and we walked around the Block (an open mall). We did a little shopping and got Katie these black framed glasses (no prescription, just fake. Her vision is better than fine she just likes the idea of glasses right now) and a flamingo necklace. Here she is with her new gifts.
We played a few games at Dave & Buster's, Katie loved the Whack-a-Mole game.
Adam helped her drive a car as she couldn't reach the pedals.
And then a game of air-hockey with mommy!
We then headed over to Johnny Rockets for lunch. The birthday girl got a balloon and an ice cream treat!
After lunch Katie saw these plastic balls filled with air over a shallow pool, it look like the ball hamsters used. Katie really wanted to try it so she did...and loved it!!
