Thanksgiving 2011

Wed. Nov. 23, we six loaded up in the van and ventured North to Oakland!!! Why? To visit with all their cousins (on mommy's side) for Thanksgiving at the Aller's new home!! We arrived late-afternoon, and the girls were so excited to see their cousins.I was excited to finally got to meet this cutie, Lewis

Here are 8 of the 10 grand-kids watching Polar Express.

After pizza dinner with family we headed to our hotel about 5 minutes from Michelle's home. Adam found one with three beds! That back room had two beds for Meg & Katie and Peyt & I and a big tv to watch cartoons on.

The front room had one bed for Gwen & Daddy to share. Gwen stays up late and so does Adam. They were able to stay up and watch tv while the rest of us slept. Gwen slept in her boppy with pillows all around her. She doesn't roll yet but Adam is so protective of her.

Thursday Nov. 24th! Happy Thanksgiving! We arrived at the Aller's for breakfast, pancakes! Katie found a puzzle

Uncle Jared found a box, marked it as the 'Mayflower' and all the cousins colored it using markers and crayons.

Just before dinner was the 'show' featuring all 10 grand-kids! Some were Pilgrims (in boat on blue water) and some were Indians (with tee-pee and green land).

After a wonderful dinner (cooked by Michelle) we did the 3 P's: Picture, Presents, Pies! Picture of all 18 of us:

Presents: The cousins did their Christmas book exchange tonight since they were all together.

Then we had Pie! There were four: pumpkin, cherry, banana and chocolate! After dessert Adam took the four girls back to the hotel, all the kids went down to sleep, and my mom, two sisters and I stayed up and watched The Proposal and chit-chatted just us four.

Friday Nov. 25th: we loaded up the van and headed home.

Katie & Peyton fell asleep, Gwen loved looking out the window.
