School Camp Out

Meghan's Elementary School had a camp-out at the school Friday night. We drove the RV over and parked on the blacktop. The girls were so excited. There was about a dozen RV's/campers/5th wheel trailers on the black top and Meg counted over 50 tents on the back lawn area.
There were lots of activities for the kids: like coloring and art stations, balloon animals and face painting.
Katie picked a butterfly and Meg picked the one below but I'm not sure what it was, but it looked pretty! Peyt stood in line and loved watching everyone else get painted but then refused to be painted on when it was her turn.
All the tables from the MPR were outside next to the picnic area. The PTA provided drinks, bbq hamburgers and hot dogs and then all the families either brought a side dish or a dessert. SO MUCH FOOD!!!
While Meg and Katie ran around playing with all the kids, Adam and Peyton relaxed by the RV, Adam was on the Internet (we have wireless) and Peyt read books. Yeah, we really rough it.
After dinner the PTA played the movie Ponyo in the MPR, and someone finally decided to get her face painted after all. (butterfly on top of a flower, but the flower got smeared)
Here are girls 'way past their bedtime' in the RV. They had so much fun running around and playing tonight.
This morning the PTA served donuts and fresh fruit and then we were home by 8:30
