So on Saturday, our family of five headed over to moms in the afternoon. My sister Michelle and husband had already left for their 10 year anniversary trip that morning, leaving their 2 daughters behind for the week at my moms. My other sister Laura offered to watch my 3 kids too so Adam and I could have a date night. So while Laura watched 7 kids (with my moms help) Adam and I went out to dinner in Long Beach, walked around the bay and had a great time. Sorry no pics.
We went back to my moms and picked up Katie and Peyton, leaving Meg to stay the night.~
Sunday morning I went over to my moms and picked up Meg and my niece Sydney for church. Here is a pic of Katie, Meg & Sydney in front of our church building.
On the way home, the three of them were singing primary songs...I got one song on video! (thankfully I was stopped at a very long red light)After church, my mom, my brother Jeff, my sister Laura and all the nieces and nephew came over to our home to PLAY!!!
It was a little crazy with 7 kids running around the backyard, going down slides, being pushed on the swings, climbing the rock wall, kicking balls, etc. Oh, and our two dogs Bo & Luke were running around too.
After a lot of energy was used-up in the backyard, the troops came inside. Those under age 2 were caged in the family room.
Those over age 2 played in the playroom. Mostly dress-up and Barbies.
Then for dinner we had hot dogs, green beans and homemade french fries (we have a deep fryer).
The older girls got to eat at their own table and the younger ones ate at the adult table.
It looks like El is trying to pray. SO cute!
It was a little chaotic trying to make sure 7 kids had food and drink, and who was eating their food and who wasn't, and who needed drink refills! My girls had so much fun running around with all their cousins tonight. It was a fun weekend.
