The Sound of Music

It was Ladies Night tonight!!!

Meg, Katie and I joined Adam's mom, aunt and three sisters to go see 'The Sound of Music'. The play was put on by the San Clemente Stake. April's boss was playing the Captain, so she was planning to go and then we all joined her!

We were so lucky that Atalie's husband Randy escorted us to dinner, he ate with 8 ladies tonight, lets just say it wasn't a quiet dinner. lol.

Randy went home taking all our leftovers and then us 8 ladies went to the play!


WOW! They bumped out the stage to make it bigger and had risers for stadium seating in the cultural hall.

They had over 40 adorable kids sing a melody of songs, and had 10 Von Trapp kids.

The play was 3 hours long and was amazing.
Funny part was when they said there was 10 kids Meg turned to me and said "10? But they only had 7!" And, she was quick to correct other errors compared to the movie such as when certain songs were sung. (They're sung in a different order in the play)

It was a long night but tons of fun with family. Meg and Katie really enjoyed the play and definitely participating in "Ladies Night".
