Happy Birthday Michelle

...my baby sister Michelle turns 30!!

Michelle may the youngest girl in my family, but to others she may be perceive as being the eldest due to her amazing leadership skills. Michelle is very straight forward on what she wants, when she wants it and how she wants things done. She is a planner, and enjoys being organized and planning every little detail of a trip or event. She reminds me a lot of my father.

Although she is organized and detail oriented, on the flip side Michelle knows how to have fun and enjoy the simple things. Michelle is an awesome dancer. Here she is with her hubby at my wedding reception, having a fabulous time! I have many fun memories of Michelle growing up. We played church, house, lava monster, and my favorite...court! ;) Michelle was very athletic when we were kids, I remember us playing with the neighbor kids in baseball, tag, hide-n-seek, riding bikes, etc. Kick-the can was a family favorite (ask our cousins and all the neighbor kids), one time Michelle beat my dad to the can (he never held back at this game) and she screamed with joy so loud!! That night rocked.

The best memories are her in high school, Michelle was in ASB (see, leadership skills!) and played several sports. She loved thrift stores and made vintage clothing look good, she even made skirt out of my dad's old ties. After I graduated i came back to cheer her on. My favorite memories are her Thriller performance, her being the Mascot and playing basketball.

Here is a pic from 8 years ago, Michelle is holding her new niece Meghan. I loved her blond bob back then. (The pic is scanned so it's a little fuzzy) Now she has two of her own little girls and is a wonderful mom.
