Beach Day!

Today was a great day to go to the beach. The sun was shinning and it was in the low 80's. Our friends the Weingarten's joined us. We all hoped in the RV and headed towards the beach.

There was no one there, except a few other RV's and camping trailers. We all grabbed our stuff and headed towards the water. This was Peyton's first beach experience. She loved the water, but hated wearing a hat. Peyton loves to eat and was constantly eating the sand but then would spit it out and then grab more sand (maybe she was thinking it would taste different?)

She did really well walking on the wet sand and dry sand, and would take off in all directions keeping me on my toes. She then found a shovel and used it as a spoon to eat more sand...ew.

Katie played with the waves and went out with Adam for a while.

She really enjoyed the waves and has no fear. Meg was a little bit adventurous, she played in the waves but preferred to play in the sand.

All three girls really enjoyed playing with the sand toys.

Here is all 5 kiddos playing together. L-R: Meghan 8, Rowan almost 4, Kaitlyn 4, Autumn 20 months & Peyton 14 months. All their names end with N.

After playing in the water and sand we headed back to the RV where 5 little ones got rinse showers in the shower, going to the beach in an RV rocks. Then we had lunch.

And then they watched Spongebob while us adults ate our lunch.

It was a fun day at the beach. For Peyton's first experience she did really well, only complaint was cleaning all the sand in every crevice (and she ate so much sand that it took a few days to finally leave her system too).
