Adam's cousin Steven, Adam's brother Taylor and Adam.
Tradition every Christmas Eve after dinner is all the children head to the back bedroom on the first floor and wait for Santa to come. One of the male adults ( it was Adam's grandpa, but now Adam's uncle plays the roll) goes upstairs to stomp around and say 'Ho Ho Ho!' and jingle some bells, and then to go outside and jingle bells again (sounding like Santa is leaving the house). Meanwhile...Vada and other adults spread out candy canes on the floor and the 'Santa gift' for each child. Then the children are allowed to come on out and see what Santa left them.
Then everyone opens up gifts from the great aunts and uncles. Katie got a tea set in a tea pot.
Afterwards we came back home. A Tradition with Adam's family was receiving new pajama's on Christmas Eve, so we have continued the tradition with our girls. Here are the girls at our home opening up their pajama's from us. Katie was so excited! (I have so many pics of her with her mouth open saying Wow!)
In case you can't tell, it's Belle from Beauty and the Beast, the pajama's are silky and photograph funny.
