Ahoy Matey's! Well shiver me timbers, it's Sept 19th which means it's "Talk like a Pirate Day"!!!! Sadly Dad is out of town on a business trip, so it's just us girls being silly. So we grabbed out pirate costumes from last years Halloween theme and ate dinner dressed like pirates! Then we swabbed the decks before our next adventure...
After dinner Aunt Wynter and cousin Chance picked us 5 girls up and off we went to Krispy Kreme's! Krispy Kreme's had a great deal today, talk like a pirate = 1 free donut, DRESS like a pirate = 1 FREE DOZEN donuts!! Here we are in the car waiting in the long drive-thru line.
After about 45 minutes in the drive-thru we each got a FREE DOZEN! Even Aunt Wynter and Chance dressed-up! Here are the girls with their pirate booty!
Then we came home to partake in our new riches of five dozen donuts!
Gwennie's first Krispy Kreme donut...yeah, she liked it.
We kept one dozen out until all 12 donuts were eaten. The other four dozen we put in our deep freezer, then when we want donuts all we have to do is microwave them and they're a yummy hot mess again.
