My mom came over today to bake with the girls.
She brought a recipe for a candy bar cookie, basically it's like a sugar cookie with a Hershey bar inside.
The girls each helped with adding ingredients. Peyton started whining as she was barricaded off in the family room, so I put her in her highchair right in front of the counter.
Now Peyton was included on the fun, she always wants to be included on everything that Meg & Katie do.
M & K helped Grandma layer the cookie dough, then the Hersey bars, then more cookie dough.
The cookies were OK, but personally it needed another flavor like peanut butter, caramel, marshmallow, or something. The girls really enjoyed making cookies, eating the leftover Hersey bars and eating the cookies when they were done! Thanks mom!
